John-Roger

Wow. What to say about John-Roger? Well I think his words say it all, so i’m giving you below some of my favorite J-R quotes … and just a few words of my own …

[And I've also included some links to free audio seminars from John-Roger you can download, and links to some of his articles and pdf books - also free, as well as some awesome moments of peace from youtube ... scroll to bottom.]

I don’t know how I came to find my Spiritual Teacher John-Roger as I was never looking for a Spiritual Teacher. In fact I don’t really think that I knew Spiritual Teachers existed at that point in my life.

I was however looking for love. I was looking for joy. For peace. And I was looking for something that would ease the pain and transform the hurt of oh so many things that were bottled inside. I didn’t know that those hurt feelings, that pain and dis-ease, could be transformed into my strengths, into my compassion, kindness, patience and loving. But each day I thank John-Roger for seamlessly and gracefully showing me how to transform all negativity into positivity.
I love you J-R. I’m here for you always. All ways.

Quotes from John-Roger …

Don’t be ashamed of what or who you are. You are divine. You are perfect.
If the human condition doesn’t always reflect the perfection, that’s because there is no way to manifest the perfection here. You can’t do it. The Traveler can’t do it. Nobody can do it. So don’t worry about it. To participate in Spirit, you don’t have to flex your muscles or pull in your stomach, lose weight or gain weight, have hair or be bald, or anything else because those things have nothing to do with the divine energy of Spirit. Any negativity is just pointing out the next thing for you to work on and to bring across into the Divinity, until one day, and truthfully so, it will all be divine and you will know it as that. There will still be negativity, and there will still be positivity, and you will see it all equally as the Divine. That is your heritage.
All you have to do is awaken to that and then know it.
– John-Roger (From: Timeless Wisdoms, Vol. One, p. 8-9)

Nearly all the ancient spiritual teachings say, in one way or another: Be present. Be here now. Live in the moment; this moment is all there is. The question is: How do we do it?
Becoming aware of your breath is one of the simplest ways to come into the present.
– John-Roger with Paul Kaye (From: Momentum, Letting Love Lead – Simple Practices for Spiritual Living, p. 61)

You get what you focus on. So it makes sense to keep choosing and focusing on grace in every moment and to take the love and joy of Spirit with you wherever you go. If you walk into a dark, black hole with love and joy, you will find love and joy there. If you walk in with fear adn anger, you will find fear and anger. Go into all the situations in your life with what you want to find there. … Some people want to get to the root of the limitations in their lives, so they continually look at why they are not happy, why they do not have enough money, why their relationships are not working, why they are sick, why things are ‘so bad’. You can try to do that if you want to, but it is much quicker and easier to move your focus from what you see as lack or limitation to what is positive in your life.
– John-Roger (From: Fulfilling Your Spiritual Promise, p. 1199)

Go within and practice being attuned to your inner worlds. Practice letting go of your focus on this world and all its glamour and illusion. Look beyond your physical senses to more subtle levels of perception. Follow your breath to a presence deep within you. You are present. And at the same time, you are traveling in your inner awareness. With your purpose at hand, keep choosing the loving, the adventure, the expansion.
– John-Roger with Pauli Sanderson (From: When Are You Coming Home? A Personal Guide to Soul Transcendence, p. 195)

This is your life, so find an intention (an overriding purpose or goal) that you can live or die in, and then follow that. It may take you some time and some Soul-searching, but it is worth it, because you are worth it. You will be dying in something at some time, so you might as well decide what it is and what is really worth your time and attention.
– John-Roger (From: Fulfilling Your Spiritual Promise, p. 1201)

The only thing I have found to work is loving. When that loving becomes unconditional, which is a neutral state, we are in the Beloved. There is no judgment, no strain, and no tension. It’s a beautiful state to be in.
– John-Roger with Paul Kaye (From: The Rest of Your Life, p. 183)

Love is the only channel for clear communication, and the quality of loving communicates far more than words. That’s important to keep in mind as you deal with people.
What will truly communicate Spirit and God to others is your loving. The words won’t matter much. You can say, “Where’s a good place to eat?” or “What’s new with you?” or “Have you read any good books lately?” — and if you ask with a consciousness of loving support, people will get the loving behind the words.
– John-Roger (From: Living Love from the Spiritual Heart, p. 39)

Issue yourself a challenge and let that challenge manifest to you all the time: From this moment on, this moment of existence, I will start to find happiness and peacefulness in me. I will call upon the name of God morning, noon, and night. And I will totally dedicate and devote myself to the uplifting of every consciousness who comes by me. Therefore, I will smile inwardly and outwardly. I will not be ashamed of my love. I will demonstrate my love totally. I will just be there and allow everyone else the same space in which to unfold.
