connecting the dots

My idea was simply about viewing each experience in life - even the seemingly 'bad' ones - as connecting 'grace' dots to greater and truly wonderful outcomes. And that the more we can view each experience as helping and directing and serving us - the easier and more fluidly those dots might line up and manifest that that we truly want. And again I have no proof, yet ;) … but to me it makes sense that if I am connecting the dots, getting from place A to place B, that those dots won’t always line up in perfectly straight lines, and while it may ‘look’ as though I'm heading on a different path - to know and trust I'm still on the same path – I’m always on the same path - the path to better, to goodness, to the best possible. And to therefore quit wasting time and energy with feeling bad about it and look forward to the next dot - the next bit of grace that will move us forward.

so what do you want?

So If I claim to know that this kind of joy; the true and real kind of joy; the joy that comes from within, comes from our Soul; exists. Then why is it that I find myself wallowing around in sadness, hurt feelings, frustration and seeking joy from this external world – still?

mishap or missing piece?

I do believe there is some purpose, some rhyme and reason to everything that unfolds, and as I get older and watch so many of my mistakes turn into new and perfect inventions, detours into crazy and grace-led adventures, and heartaches into the ability and strength to love, to love above and regardless of all else.

does a greater purpose give us more energy?

Well I have no idea, but I have noticed as I've been tracking as part of my PhD study, that the days I take the time to connect to my life's purpose, to the service, the plans and dreams I have for my life, not only does the day seem to flow more smoothly and with more easily, but I've noticed from my tracking that I also have more energy. Interesting ;)

playday

and now i'm only guessing, but maybe the more joy, love, enthusiasm and freedom you have in your life, your job, your business – well isn’t that what everyone wants to be around – so maybe that’s what attracts more success, more customers, more clients?!? makes sense to me anyway ;)

the willingness gives the ability

another favorite John-Roger quote of mine follows the lines of: ‘the willingness to do something, gives us the ability to do it’. what if that is true?!?! what if it only took the willingness, the intention, the desire and the ability would follow, in some divine graceful manner … ?!?

keep going

... when you have inspired thought, you’re susposed to act, not think about it or say some day when I have the time or I have the money, then I will do something. That was the piece for me, not someday, NOW. Thats how it started ...

creating a channel

Through spiritual exercises, you create a channel, an opening, a tunnel, through which Spirit can convey its wisdom to you. As you practice your spiritual exercises, you shorten the time of awareness between the intuition level (awareness) and the mental level (recognition). The shorter that time becomes, the more it will appear that your thoughts have become aligned with the spiritual wisdom.

follow your enthusiasm

maybe God just put us here to do what we love, to do what makes us happy? and that's why he gave us enthusiam, joy and excitement … so we could know when we were getting close … ;-)

keep going

‘I could get there if I kept going’ – was really the key for me in that moment. i was feeling challenged, judging myself for not being ‘perfect’ i guess, or not being all that i thought i can be, and forgetting that it’s our ‘down times’ that complete, and give sense and meaning to our ‘up times’. really the up and the down is all one and the same, all this glorious thing called life … and all of a sudden it wasn’t such a big deal, i relaxed, and now feel like myself again.
